Rome, after having been the world capital of swimming in 2009, will host the XXXVI edition of the European Swimming Championships from 11 to 21 August 2022.
The estimated numbers for the European Championships are: 52 nations, 1,500 athletes, 800 media representatives, 1,000 volunteers, 100,000 spectators in the stands, 200,000,000 viewers in front of the screens without considering the data of the new media, 74 finals for 222 medals.
The various competitions will take place in 3 locations in the Roman territory:Italic forum for swimming and diving competitions. Nicola Pietrangeli Stadium for artistic swimming. Ostia Lido for swimming in open water (just 3 km from our hotel).
