The most illustrious monument in the world, known as the Colosseum because of the huge bronze statue of Nerone that was close to it, it’s really called Anfiteatro Flavio. Romans used it for fights and games between gladiators and for simulating hunts to ferocious and exotic animals. In the underground there was a dense net of galleries where the beasts were kept and where sets, equipment and the elevator have been preserved.

The Ancient Romans were very careful to body care and to the political relationships. The Caracalla Thermae were the place where to take care both. The thermae were used for baths, sports and body care but also for walking, study and political plotting. In the inside we can find many works of art partly still visible.
